The Parks & Recreation Department for the city of Montebello offers an extended child care program for working parents at four MUSD elementary schools. Parents of children attending Fremont, Greenwood, Washington, & Potrero Heights Elementary schools can sign up for the program and their children will be cared for before & after school as needed.
I've personally seen this program in action near my children's school. The program leaders are good with the kids, walking them to & from the school site, and communicating well with the school's staff and principal.
