World's Largest Swim Lesson

Families in our community can partake of a rare opportunity to be part of a Guinness World Record by participating in the World's Largest Swim Lesson. People in pools around the world will simultaneously participate in  a swim lesson for 30 minutes.

Palm Park Pool in Whittier is hosting one of the free swimming lessons. Participants of any age are welcome, but all participants need to be able to climb out of the pool using a ladder on their own, so the recommended age is three years and older. Registration begins at 7:30am, and because it's for a world record the lesson starts promptly at 8am. For more information call (562) 908-3666.
