I took the kids to Forest Lawn in Glendale today to see the new exhibit, The Art of the Brick. This is a must see for any Lego fan and definitely worth the drive.My kids love anything Lego and this exhibit was like none we had ever seen before. There were about 30 pieces on display. Our favorite was a pop-up story book complete with castle and moat.
The Forest Lawn Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday, 10am-5pm, parking and admission is free. There are two other exhibit halls and a gift shop in the museum. Be sure to drive around Forest Lawn's roads on your way out, there are many sculptures including a replica of Michelangelo's Statue of David on display throughout the grounds.
