  1. I wouldn't waste my time or money. The instructors at this studio are VERY unprofessional. They yell at the children any chance they get and have no communication with the parents. I was only there for a while and it was plain misery.

  2. My daughter has been going to Montebello Performing Arts center for almost two years and the instructors have NEVER yelled at her! I have never had any communication issues either, I personally talk to the instructors on a daily basis. They are always there to answer any questions that I may have. I wouldn't take my daughter for dance lessons any where else. My daughter will be attending this Summer Dance Camp and she is very excited! I would recommend it to my family and friends. The instructors really care about their students and they really work hard for them! Take this from a person that is currently there, plus where else are you going to find quality 5 week Summer Camp with snack and lunch included for $375?!

  3. I guess you are one of the lucky ones. My children didn't get yelled at because I was always there, but I saw how the others were treated. They don't have many returning students, only the favorites return. As a parent, I saw lack of professionalism and favoritism. Parents need to know the truth about this studio, please don't sugar coat it!

  4. I am a student at MPAC I love the studio and my teachers. Yes, they might yell sometimes but what teacher doesn't? We get yelled at if we aren't paying attention or playing around when we should be dancing! I have learned so much there in such a short time! I pretty much live at the studio it's like my second home. :o)

  5. My child has been going to MPAC for a year now and she loves it. She had no prior dance experience, but the teachers helped out a lot and has encouraged her to be a better dancer. They are nice and caring and I have never heard any complaints about them from her. This past year, she made many new friends from the studio. The teachers/directors have showcases for us twice a year which is always something to look forward to. I recommend this dance studio to everyone who wants to learn the art of dance.

  6. I love MPAC! The teachers are strict, they do not yell, they have to keep the children in line. We attended another dance school where the teachers were very lax and the kids were just running around. At MPAC, the children LEARN, the teachers are very professional, but more importantly, they CARE to instill the love of DANCE into the children. THE INSTRUCTORS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT DANCE. I could not ask for anything more. They are not in it to make a huge profit, like other places. Again, I LOVE MPAC!!!

  7. Almost all of the students that are new, return. It's like a family. I don't know what the first comment on here is talking about. It's great! And more importantly, the kids learn the correct form - from toddlers on up. MPAC instructors are very patient with all the ages.
