Cast your gaze skyward at one of Griffith Park's Star Parties held monthly at the Observatory.Volunteers from various organizations set up viewing stations across the observatory lawn and allow the public to view planets, the moon, the sun, and other celestial objects.
Star Parties are held from 2:00pm - 9:45pm on the following Saturdays:
Parking at Griffith Park Observatory is free, but limited. You will likely need to park on the road leading up to the observatory.
The Griffith Park Observatory is free and open to the public during the Star Party events until 10pm.
