  1. Says it is only for kids 6-14. My son is a few months away from turning 6 and is fully capable of building lego projects. Do you see younger kids there? Do all the kids file into the store to assemble their projects? Is that why it takes longer? Or do you have the option of assembling the kit at home?

    1. Hi! I believe the Lego Store puts a minimum age of 6 as a safety precaution since many of the parts are very small and are choking hazards to young children. My kids have been attending Lego Mini-Builds since they were 4 or 5. About a 9-12 kids work on assembling the creation at the same time, parents usually stand next to the younger children and help, while older kids 8+ can do most of the assembling on their own. The kit is meant to be assembled in store, you could take it home without building it but you will still have to wait in line, so everyone builds it there and the Lego Associates give little bags to take it home.
